First day of Pre-school.

We weren't going to put Davey in pre-school until next year. He is so young, he barely turned 3 on August 31st, so I thought maybe he could stand to wait one more year. But, then we moved, and I realized that since we don't really know many people down here, I need to get him into a situation so he could socialize. The wife of one of Dave's co-workers runs a pre-school in Spanish Fork called Creative Care. I took Davey there one day before school started to check things out and I practically had to drag him out of there.
Here he is at our front door right before we left on the first day. I don't know why he looks like this, he is usually pretty excited to do anything. I think he might have been mad at me for rushing him so we could be on time.

Davey loves wearing his backpack and showing it off. Even if it is totally empty he always remembers to take it with him.

Here he is sitting on the bench outside after I picked him up on the first day. He was a lot happier than earlier in the morning.

Happy Birthday Davey!!

Davey turned 3 on August 31st. Of course we went up to Cache Valley to celebrate with family and friends. Being Labor Day weekend most of our friends were out of town, but a few were able to stop by. We kept things pretty low key and played on the giant water slide and broke open a pinata. Anyways, I can't believe he has gotten to be such a big boy!! Where did my baby go?
Davey, Delaynie Justesen, and Jacquie at the top of the slide. I think they were debating who was going to first.

Davey and Jacquie playing with the party favors. These two can be trouble!

Davey loves his cousin Joie. He is always asking to hold her or pulling faces and showing off to make her laugh.

And of course everyone loves Uncle Matt.....

Whoa....I'm back!!!

Can you say, SLACKER? That is what I have been when it comes to this blog. I has been two months since I have written. I have even missed Davey's birthday. I must be a horrible mother!! Oh well, I guess I will have to try and catch up. I will start with a few random pics that really don't deserve an entry of their own.
We have been trying to make the most of our season pass to Hogle Zoo. Here we are with my Mom in front the bears.

Here they are on the carousel. Ever since he saw Kung Fu Panda, Davey loves Pandas!

Davey has been working hard on going potty for the last month. He finally earned this Thomas the Tank Engine Water Tower set from Grandma. As you can see both he and Jacquie are pretty excited about it.

The Ringling Brothers circus was in town this last weekend and of course we had to go. Davey said his favorite things were the tigers and elephants. We had a great time.

Last night we went to the Mascot Bowl at Lehi High School. It was basically a charity fundraiser with all the mascots from UofU, BYU, Weber State, UVU, the Jazz Bear, Orem Owlz, even Denver Broncos and Phoenix Suns. Of course our favorite was Big Blue. We may live in Utah County now, but we know which team wears True Blue.
